KoolPals comedian calls the film a win for inclusion: “All love for all the ngongo.”

Stand-up comedian Roger Naldo of comedy podcast The KoolPals has shared his take on the upcoming film “Love, Ngongo,” starring fellow comedian Jerald Napoles, expressing his full support for projects that give a platform to the cleft palate and speech-impaired community.

Addressing the film’s title, Roger clarified in a recent interview with radar Entertainment that he feels nothing but love and positivity toward the project, viewing it as a massive step for inclusion in the local entertainment industry.

For him, the movie serves as an empowering platform that proves people with speech impediments can break into mainstream acting and tell their own stories.

Roger also drew parallels between the film’s representation and his own career in stand-up comedy, noting that his sets are completely rooted in his personal life.

“Katulad nito, kapag nanonood sila ng stand-up comedy ko, lahat ng mga jokes ko coming from my personal experiences. So, makikita nila kung ano ‘yong nasa utak namin,” Roger shared, emphasizing how comedy and film allow audiences to truly understand their perspectives.

Urging the public to support the movie, he concluded with a message of solidarity: “Maganda, suportahan ninyo ‘yong mga ganyan… All love po for all the ngongo.”
