John Estrada has made one thing clear: his daughter Kaila Estrada’s happiness comes above everything else.

Speaking candidly about Kaila and Daniel Padilla, the veteran actor had nothing but warm words for the actor, describing him as someone he has known for years and someone he deeply respects for his humility and character.

“To be honest, dati ko pa kilala si DJ, si Daniel. He’s a very good kid. Ang bait na tao, humble, ma-respeto. Wala akong masasabi sa tao,” Estrada shared.

Rather than interfere in his daughter’s personal life, Estrada emphasized that he trusts Kaila to make her own decisions and will always support what makes her genuinely happy.

“If he has something with my daughter, then that’s up to them. I wish them well. Wish them happiness,” he said.

For Estrada, the most important qualities in any partner are not fame or success but faith, integrity, and respect for family.

“Dapat importante ’yung godly person. May takot sa Diyos. May respeto sa pamilya niya, lalo na sa mga magulang niya,” he explained.

His glowing words about Daniel only reinforced the respect he has for the actor, whom he has watched grow through the years.

Ultimately, Estrada said that seeing his daughter happy is all any father could hope for.

“At siyempre, ’yong talagang magpapasaya sa kanya. Because my daughter’s happy, I’m gonna be happy for her.”
