Kim Chiu turns backlash into punchline, jokes critics are “for monetization” as viral post sparks fan support.

Actress and TV host Kim Chiu has finally reacted to the wave of online criticism directed at her, responding with humor and a touch of sarcasm.

“Truelamey!!! #cravings nila ako! Bet na bet! For monetization, isama ko na din cguro to sa #KimChiuCharityProgram. Monetization is the key. You’re welcome po. Makatulong man lang sa pang-araw-araw,” Kim wrote.

Her post quickly drew reactions from fans, many of whom praised her for choosing to laugh off the negativity instead of engaging in online arguments.

The actress’ remark came after another round of criticism surfaced online, following an alleged snubbing incident involving veteran entertainment vlogger Ogie Diaz and her joke with “Eat Bulaga” host Ryzza Mae Dizon, which some interpreted negatively.

This prompted one netizen to defend her and question why she continues to be targeted.

“Ano bang meron kay Ate Kimmy at hindi niyo kayang tigilan? Araw-araw na lang may new issue na pilit niyong ginagawa. Wala na ba talagang ibang mapagkaabalahan? Ang daming totoong problema sa paligid, pero mas inuuna ni’yo pa ang buhay ng isang taong tahimik lang namang nagtatrabaho,” the netizen wrote.

Despite the recurring online criticism, Kim has remained active in her projects and has largely avoided directly addressing the issue. Instead, she chose to respond with a lighthearted message, even joking that the attention she receives could help generate funds for her charity efforts.

Her post has since gone viral, with many supporters applauding her positive outlook and her ability to turn negativity into something that, she said, could benefit others.
