The integrated airport city will combine air travel, cargo, logistics, business, and commercial developments as Clark expands into a major aviation hub.

PH’s first airport city is set to rise in Clark with the development of the 759-hectare Clark AeroDistrict, marking a major step in the country’s push to ease congestion at Metro Manila’s airports and build world-class transport hubs outside the capital. The project will create an integrated hub where air travel, cargo, logistics, business, and commercial developments are built around an international airport.

The development forms part of broader efforts to spread aviation traffic more evenly across the country as demand for passenger and cargo services continues to grow. It also seeks to position Clark as a key gateway for tourism, trade, and logistics.

The Clark AeroDistrict will span 759 hectares, with dedicated zones for commercial travel, freight cargo, logistics providers, aircraft maintenance, and mixed-use commercial developments. Clark International Airport will also be expanded as part of the project.

Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), the operator of Clark International Airport, will spearhead the development.

While no overall completion timeline has been announced, the 30-hectare cargo city is expected to be operational within the next two years. It will house facilities for global logistics companies FedEx and UPS.

Once completed, the AeroDistrict is expected to strengthen Clark’s role as one of the country’s key aviation and logistics gateways, supporting faster cargo movement, increased passenger traffic, and future business growth in Central Luzon.
