Longtime makeup artist’s IG story sparks buzz over possible “Queen of All Media” return.
Fans are buzzing over the possibility of Kris Aquino’s long-awaited comeback after her longtime makeup artist, RB Chanco, teased what appeared to be an upcoming production.
In a July 22 Instagram Story, Chanco shared a behind-the-scenes photo from a production set with the caption: “The Real Queen we’ve all been waiting for. Coming soon. K”
While neither Chanco nor Aquino has confirmed what the project is—or whether it even involves the “Queen of All Media” herself—the cryptic post quickly fueled speculation online, with many interpreting the “K” and the production setup as a hint that the beloved host may soon return to showbiz.
“After everything Ms. Kris has been through with her health, seeing this behind-the-scenes photo is truly heartwarming,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
Others echoed the excitement while hoping Aquino continues to prioritize her recovery. “She should always have her health come first. If it becomes burdensome again, then rest,” another added.
Fans have also begun guessing what the mystery project could be. Some wished for the return of Aquino’s iconic “Kris TV,” while others said a podcast would be a “less taxing” format given her current condition.
Aquino has largely stayed away from showbiz in recent years as she undergoes treatment for multiple autoimmune conditions. She recently revealed that she had suffered from post-COVID fatigue syndrome and the “worst rheumatoid arthritis flare” in May.
Despite going through what she described as the “worst body pain,” Aquino made a surprise appearance on “Eat Bulaga!” the following month to support her son, Bimby, during his guest co-hosting stint.
The appearance further fueled speculation about her possible return, as she even hinted at possibly guest-hosting “Eat Bulaga!” in the future.
Earlier in February, Aquino also revealed plans to return to showbiz by starring in and co-producing her own on-camera podcast.
