The website preview calls for the death of Metro Manila citizens.

An official website of the Department of Labor and Employment appears to have been hacked and now displays a hate message in its website preview.

The DOLE National Capital Region Client Portal, which enables citizens and businesses to submit labor-related applications, requests and reports online, has been hacked.

The website preview on search engines displays a hate message directed at ethnic minorities and calling for the death of people in Metro Manila.

When opened, the website displays a “System Under Maintenance” notice, saying the website is undergoing security enhancements and services will be restored shortly.

Netizens first reported the hack at approximately 5:18 PM. As of 7:20 PM, the hate message remained displayed in the website preview.

The DOLE NCR and national office have not issued any advisories about the website being under maintenance.
