Will confessed to admiring Mika from Day One, sparking viral outrage over hidden housemate narratives.

Will Ashley recently revealed that his interest in “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Mika Salamanca had started much earlier than viewers initially thought, prompting fans to wonder if their love story could have blossomed much sooner had the show not initially paired them with other housemates.

During their time inside Bahay ni Kuya (BNK), Will reportedly told Mika, “I’ve admired you from Day One.”

He also recently revealed that the two had already shared a conversation inside the house.

“Nagkaroon kami ng usap no’n ni Miks. Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, kahit na sobrang amats, sobrang wholesome ng usap lang talaga,” Will said.

The revelation prompted fans to question how much of Will and Mika’s interactions actually made it to air, with one netizen claiming that Will had already tried making a move on Mika inside BNK but that the moment was not aired because another love team narrative was being pushed.

Mika was eventually paired with Brent Manalo, while Will was part of a love triangle with Bianca de Vera and Dustin Yu.

“PBB editing room, konti na lang pa-fake news na kayo sa editing n’yo. If only you let the public decide how they feel about the truth rather than twisting narratives to force a story you want to tell,” the viewer wrote.

But not everyone was convinced that Mika had been Will’s intended romantic interest all along.

“Was it really Mika all along? Kasi kung oo, bakit si Bianca lagi ang sagot mo tuwing tinatanong ka kung kanino ka maiinlove? Nagsorry ka pa kay Dustin,” another netizen pointed out.

The confusion stems from Will’s own conversations about Bianca during a “Boys’ Night Out” with other housemates. “Dustin, sorry din, pero ako, si Bianca,” he firmly answered when asked, “Kanino ka maiinlove dito sa bahay?”

A few scenes later, Will once again confessed to Bianca, “I know I am friends with Dustin pero, seriously, two years ago… Never kong makakalimutan,” referring to his feelings for the actress.

Because of those moments, some viewers are now questioning whether Will’s feelings for Mika were genuinely present from the beginning or whether they only became clearer after leaving the show.

Others, meanwhile, argued that PBB editing can naturally shape what audiences see without necessarily scripting the housemates’ actions.

“I only believe what directly comes out of the housemates’ mouths. ‘Yang mga cuts ng glances, mapanlinlang. ‘Yong pag-pair or group, manipulated,” one viewer said.

Another compared the controlled environment to a “Hunger Games arena,” pointing to confession-room questions, activities, groupings, and programmed conversations that can influence the house dynamics.

Still, the housemates eventually leave Bahay ni Kuya with something production cannot completely control: their own version of what happened.

And with Will now talking about Mika, fans are clearly ready to revisit the parts of the story they never saw.
