Buyers risk losing warranty coverage on ₱35k units.

Kolin Philippines warned consumers against purchasing air conditioner units that were “lost in transit,” as these units are ineligible for warranty coverage and authorized repairs.

In an advisory on October 16, Kolin Philippines said 300 units of its 1.5-horsepower Certus AI air conditioner model had been reported lost in transit.

The model is promoted as an artificial intelligence-powered machine that can adjust to users’ preferences. A 1.5-hp Certus AI unit has a suggested retail price of ₱34,995.

Kolin said the missing units would not be covered by its warranty. Any warranty claims, repairs, replacement requests, or after-sales service benefits associated with the units’ serial numbers will not be honored by authorized service providers, the company added.

Kolin posted the serial numbers of all 300 units on its Facebook page.
