Angela Muji won the “On the Radar” online promo, Entertainment Edition, in the Leading Ladies category after a two-week voting period. She earned a total of 22,320 points, ranking first among 12 competitors. The win highlights her strong audience support and growing visibility in the entertainment scene.
Once known as a member of the P-pop group P-pop Generation, Angela Muji is now carving a fresh path in the entertainment industry. This time, as a rising actress ready to take on bigger roles and bolder dreams.
Her steady transition into acting began with the web series “Seducing Drake Palma,” where she showcased her natural charm and emotional depth.
Angela Muji leads the Filipino adaptation of ‘A Werewolf Boy’
That breakthrough soon opened doors to bigger opportunities, including her most significant project yet: headlining the film “A Werewolf Boy,” alongside her love team partner Rabin Angeles.
Announced by Viva Films, the movie is the Filipino adaptation of the hit Korean film and is set to become the studio’s first movie offering for 2026.
For Angela, landing her first lead role still feels surreal. “Hindi ko siya in-expect. It just landed on my lap. When I heard the news that I will be part of a film, and that I’ll be leading in it, hindi ako makapaniwala. Natulala lang po ako. I had to snap back into reality. Parang, ‘Wow! Ang galing,’” she shared.
She added that the experience felt like a moment of answered prayers, one that brought her long-held dreams into clear view. “Lahat ng mga pinagdarasal ko noon, lahat ng mga pinapangarap ko noon na imposibleng makamit, biglang nasa harapan ko na.”
From P-pop Generation star to rising film actress
As her acting career gains momentum, many wonder if this means she is stepping away completely from her P-pop roots. For Angela, the answer is far from simple.
“I’m torn because love ko rin talaga ang mag-sing and dance. As much as possible, tina-try ko siyang i-incorporate sa mall shows. Sumasayaw at kumakanta ako para ma-satisfy ko ‘yong self ko, na I’m still dancing and singing even though I’m no longer part of a girl group.”
While she continues to embrace music and dance, Angela is clear about where her heart now leads her. “It’s always been a dream of mine to be an actress. Passion ko rin po ang dancing and singing. Pero once I started acting, dito ko na-realize na mas love ko pala talaga ang acting; mas masaya sa feeling, mas fulfilling siya. I love acting so much po.”
With her first lead film on the horizon and a growing list of projects ahead, Angela stands at the beginning of an exciting new chapter, one fueled by courage, gratitude, and a deep love for her craft.
From the bright lights of the P-pop stage to the cinematic world of film, she is steadily proving that reinvention can be both powerful and rewarding.
