Dolly De Leon puts game face on in Apple TV’s ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ first-look photos

She plays Detective Sofia Gonzalez in the upcoming dark comedy thriller.

Apple TV on April 6 released first-look images of its upcoming dark comedy thriller “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” whose cast includes Filipino actor Dolly De Leon.

One photo shows a brooding Dolly, in glasses and wool top, working on the computer as Detective Sofia Gonzalez. Fellow cast member Jon Michael Hill, who plays Detective Baxter, is standing by her side.

The photos also came with an official teaser, though it didn’t feature Dolly and instead focused on the lead Tatiana Maslany.

With excitement, Dolly shared the teaser on her Instagram account, writing, “Finally! ✔️Play a detective ✔️Work with Tatiana Maslany So excited for you guys to watch this!!!”

A new mystery unfolds

Dolly’s inclusion in “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” was first announced in July 2025.

According to the logline, the show “follows newly divorced mom Paula (Tatiana) as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Convinced she witnessed a crime—while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis—Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self.” It will premiere on May 20.

Dolly is also part of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film, “Forgotten Island,” whose voice cast includes fellow Filipinos Liza Soberano, H.E.R., Lea Salonga, Jo Koy, Amielynn Abellera, and Manny Jacinto.

Dolly had humble beginnings as a theater actor, and had some supporting roles in movies and television. But with her breakout performance in the 2022 black comedy “Triangle of Sadness,” she landed roles in several international projects and even a few local productions.
