Dr. Deano Reyes honored for work in regenerative medicine

The award highlights growing interest in regenerative medicine and peptide therapy across the Philippines.

Hara Clinic founder and Medical Director Dr. Deano Reyes has been named one of the Men of Exemplary Influence in the Field of Medicine 2026, recognizing his work in regenerative medicine, peptide therapy and personalized healthcare.

Reyes received the recognition during the annual Best Dressed Women of the Philippines charity gala held at Shangri-La The Fort. The award was presented by board members Noel Gonzales and Charlie Rufino.

He will also be featured in the organization’s 2026 Limited Edition BDWP Coffee Table Book.

“For me, what makes regenerative and peptide medicine interesting is that we are learning more about how we can work with the body’s own systems to improve health and function,” Reyes said.

“There is still a lot to learn, and that is exactly why responsible practice, continuing education, and good patient care are important as these fields develop.”

Growing focus on regenerative medicine

Reyes, who also serves as president of the Philippine Peptide Society, has focused much of his recent work on regenerative medicine and peptide therapy alongside hormone and sexual health.

Regenerative medicine explores approaches intended to repair, restore or support the function of tissues and biological systems. Peptides, meanwhile, are short chains of amino acids that can act as signaling molecules in the body.

While some peptide-based medicines have established clinical uses, other applications continue to be studied, making evidence-based practice and appropriate medical supervision particularly important as interest in the field grows.

Reyes received certification in Stem Cell Therapy from the South China Institute in 2026 and Peptide Therapy from A4M in 2025. He also holds certifications from ISSCA, IPS, Genoracle and other institutions, and serves as Medical Director of Seenergie Regenerative Medicine.

From sexual health to personalized care

Hara Clinic initially built much of its practice around sexual health and sexually transmitted infection care, including services intended to make medical consultation more accessible to patients who may hesitate to seek treatment because of stigma.

Its scope has since expanded to include hormone health, regenerative medicine, peptide therapy and personalized wellness.

The expansion reflects growing interest in healthcare approaches addressing longer-term concerns such as aging, recovery, sexual function, metabolism and quality of life.

For Reyes, it also means working at the intersection of established areas of medicine and emerging therapies whose clinical evidence continues to develop.

Recognition supports cancer programs

The Men of Exemplary Influence recognition is part of the Best Dressed Women of the Philippines, an annual fundraising initiative benefiting the Philippine Cancer Society.

The event was founded by Consul Helen Ong in 2004 through the initiative of the late Philippine Cancer Society chairman Dr. Roberto Montilla Paterno.

Proceeds help support Philippine Cancer Society programs and services for cancer patients, including indigent Filipinos.

Previous Men of Exemplary Influence recipients include Sen. Joey Lina and Benjamin Abalos Jr.

For Reyes, the recognition comes as regenerative medicine and peptide therapy continue to gain attention among Filipino doctors and patients, while research into many emerging applications remains ongoing.
