Liquor giant focuses on whisky and brandy facilities after completing major expansion projects across its global operations.
After years of building capacity, Emperador is entering its next growth phase.
The Philippine-listed spirits maker has allocated ₱2.4 billion in capital expenditures for 2026, with spending focused on whisky and brandy facilities as it capitalizes on investments completed in recent years.
More than half of the budget will go to its whisky business, including warehouses, maturation sites, and facility upgrades. The remainder will support production and distribution improvements for its brandy operations.
The lower spending plan comes after several major projects were completed, including the expansion of The Dalmore distillery in Scotland, which doubled production capacity, and the construction of additional warehouses for aging whisky stocks.
Years of investment have already expanded Emperador’s production footprint. The latest spending plan suggests the company is now concentrating on making those assets work harder as it serves global demand.
The company has also completed sustainability projects, including a biomass boiler in Jura and a bioenergy center in Invergordon. In the Philippines, it installed an Air Emissions Treatment Plant at its glass manufacturing facility to help improve air quality around the site.
Armed with upgraded facilities across its whisky and brandy businesses, Emperador said it remains positioned to support demand for its products in international markets.
Emperador operates manufacturing facilities in the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Mexico, with distribution reaching more than 100 countries worldwide.
Its portfolio includes Emperador Brandy, Fundador Brandy, and single malt whisky brands The Dalmore, Fettercairn, Jura, and Tamnavulin. The company is listed on both the Philippine Stock Exchange and the Singapore Exchange.
