Hain sa Pulo is open 8 AM to 9 PM Monday to Thursday and 7 AM to 10 PM Friday to Sunday.

Imagine ordering Sulu, Bacolod, Bicol and Ilocos—all on the same table.

That’s essentially the promise of Hain sa Pulo, a sprawling tropical-themed restaurant in Tagaytay that turns a Filipino meal into a culinary trip across the archipelago.

Start with Chicken Pyanggang (₱575), the Tausug favorite cooked in coconut milk with deeply toasted coconut that gives the dish its distinctive smoky richness.

Then travel to the Visayas with The Ultimate Kansi (₱1,495). The steaming bowl of beef and bone marrow gets its signature sourness from real batuan fruit sourced from the Visayas—not powder. It’s good for four to five people and practically demands extra rice.

From Bicol comes Tinomok (₱495), ground pork and shrimp wrapped in taro leaves, alongside Tinapa Laing and Crispy Bicol Express. Up north, there’s Bagnet Ilocos (₱495)—twice-cooked pork belly with the crackling skin every bagnet lover wants to hear crunch.

And you’re in Tagaytay, so naturally, there is bulalo.

The Ultimate Bulalo (₱1,295) arrives as a generous sharing bowl of beef, vegetables, piping-hot broth and glorious bone marrow, good for four to five diners.

But Hain sa Pulo doesn’t stop there.

There’s Crispy Bagnet Kare-Kare, Sinuglaw, Sisig Kapampangan, Chicken Binakol, Kilawin na Tanigue, Beef Caldereta, crispy pata, seafood kare-kare, crabs swimming in butter garlic or salted egg sauce—and even a butter-aged premium ribeye for those who want to splurge.

Come hungry. Better yet, come as a group.

Hain sa Pulo sits on approximately 1,500 square meters and can accommodate around 200 guests. Parking can take more than 40 cars and even tourist buses. The restaurant is pet-friendly and PWD-friendly, too.

Its tropical architecture, huge native-inspired pavilions and open-air setting give the place a laid-back island-resort feel—what the restaurant describes as “Boracay in Tagaytay.”

There’s a large koi pond in the middle where children can feed the fish for free. And when evening arrives, the place gets livelier with live bands performing seven nights a week.

Located along Crisanto M. De Los Reyes Avenue, Hain sa Pulo is also conveniently close to Sky Ranch and Mahogany Beef Market.

It is open 8 AM to 9 PM Monday to Thursday and 7 AM to 10 PM Friday to Sunday.

The Philippines has thousands of islands and countless regional dishes. You obviously can’t taste them all in one sitting.

But at Hain sa Pulo, you can certainly give it a delicious try.
