Actress Barbie Imperial reposted the blind item and denied claims that a wealthy admirer paid for her success.
Actress Barbie Imperial appeared to be affected by Lady Radar’s latest blind item, which hinted at a “lovely celebrity’s new posh home in an ultra-exclusive village down south” which is estimated to value “above P100M” allegedly paid for by someone rich.
The speculation gained traction after Imperial reposted radar Entertainment’s blind item of the day on Facebook, adding a pointed caption that suggested she believed the item was about her.

“Lol this is so obvious it’s about me. Hindi na lang kayo maging masaya. I can proudly say NO MAN helped me achieve this. Kung sino pa yung sarili mong kapwa Pinoy talaga hihila sa’yo pababa. God bless you, whoever you are. Makagawa ka lang ng kuwento. Bye,” she wrote.
The actress also wrote on her Instagram that the item was “fake news.”

In response, Lady Radar clarified that the platform practices responsible journalism and does not intend to cause harm to readers or personalities involved. According to the site, their sources are valid, and blind items are meant to be anonymous and are presented as a form of entertainment.
Lady Radar further noted that many celebrities could potentially fit the description in the blind item raising the question of why anyone would feel compelled to single themselves out.
Hindi na lang kayo maging masaya. I can proudly say no man helped me achieve this.
