The cast of Get On Your Feet! brings the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan to the Manila stage.
Kayla Rivera drew immediate rave reviews as Gloria Estefan during the special preview of “Get On Your Feet!” on July 9 at the Proscenium Theater in Rockwell.
The audience included theater stalwarts Audie Gemora, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Pinky Amador, along with Sam Concepcion, Mark Bautista, Tommy Alejandrino, Markki Stroem, and other industry personalities.
The musical marks its Southeast Asian premiere, staged by 9 Works Theatrical and Rockwell. Directed by Robbie Guevara with musical direction by Daniel Bartolome, it follows the Estefans’ rise from their Miami beginnings to global stardom.

“Get On Your Feet!” opens July 10 at the Proscenium Theater, Rockwell Center, Makati. Runtime is approximately 2.5 hours.
