The Queen of All Media opens up about her survival fight for her sons and mandatory doctors.

Kris Aquino is slowly reclaiming her space in the spotlight, making commercial appearances and recently joining Macoy Dubs and Baus Rufo’s special episode, “Dermshow Divas,” while giving a glimpse into the health precautions behind her return.

During the appearance, Aquino candidly addressed the measures surrounding her public engagements, revealing that having medical support nearby is now non-negotiable.

“It’s mandatory for me to have two doctors on standby kasi ayaw ko naman na, ‘Si Kris Aquino, nahimatay.’ ‘Si Kris Aquino, sinugod sa hospital.’ I don’t like that.”

Despite the precautions, Aquino made it clear that she is determined to keep going, particularly for her sons.

“I am trying to be strong because I still wanna see Bimby, my sons, fulfill their dreams.”

Her appearance also carried moments of humor and optimism. Aquino praised Baus’ hosting skills, noting the importance of understanding a product before endorsing it. “When you’re hosting, you must know how much the product is para it’s not hard to advertise.”

She also appeared to tease an upcoming project after saying, “I lost my voice because of [an event] I went to kanina. How do I say this without spoiling it yet?”

Then came perhaps her clearest declaration about her return: “I’m alive. I am not a ghost.”

Aquino also reflected on how she views the difficult period she has endured, saying, “What God is doing is making you feel everything at your lowest so I could experience the most of everything.”

She further told Baus, “Others comment on other people but you, you are a blessing to others,” while acknowledging the people who have supported her. “Everyone around me has been very kind and so understanding.”

Rather than announcing a full comeback, Aquino’s recent appearances suggest something more personal: she is choosing to show up again, carefully and on her own terms. Safeguard has also launched the bar soap version of its DermProtect Face and Body Wash, expanding the line featured in the episode.
