Philippine financial markets faced renewed selling pressure on Thursday, September 10, 2026, as the Philippine peso weakened slightly and the Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) halted its recent rally.
The PSEi dropped 17.30 points, or 0.28%, to close at 6,099.23, snapping its three-day winning streak.
Despite the pullback, the benchmark index remained comfortably above the 6,000 threshold for the sixth consecutive session.
Peso slips after brief recovery
