The “It’s Showtime” host opens up about the breakup, denying betrayal and pointing to personal differences.
Ryan Bang has denied allegations of infidelity involving his ex-fiancée, Paola Huyong.
In a recently uploaded vlog, Vice Ganda asked Ryan about his current relationship status, prompting him to confirm, “Me? Now? Yes, I’m single.” When further asked, Ryan revealed that he has been single since January.
Ryan shared that he had tried to fix the relationship, saying he hoped and prayed things would work out. However, he admitted that despite his efforts, it eventually ended as deeper issues became clearer over time, including cultural gaps.
“Of course, in the relationship, I also had my faults, but I never [cheated]. That’s not true, what people are saying,” he stressed.
He also expressed gratitude toward his former partner’s family, describing them as kind and respectful even after the breakup. According to him, both sides had tried to reconcile things, but ultimately realized they were not aligned.
Ryan’s clarification puts to rest rumors surrounding the split, emphasizing that the breakup stemmed from incompatibility rather than betrayal.
