Fresh features: Your listening personality revealed
For the 2025 Spotify Wrapped, the platform introduces several playful and deeply personalized ways for listeners to experience their year in audio:
- Listening Age: A new feature that playfully compares your musical tastes to others in your age group. It’s calculated based on the release years of the tracks you stream most frequently.
- Fan Leaderboard: For the competitive-minded, this feature reveals exactly where you rank among the global listeners for your top artists, calculated from your total minutes streamed.
- Top Albums: Audiophiles can finally rejoice! This new addition spotlights the albums you returned to again and again throughout the year.
- Clubs: This fun, social feature sorts users into one of six distinct groups based on their listening style and emotional connection to music, such as:
- Cloud State Society (for chill, mellow vibes)
- Grit Collective (for punk, rage, and angst)
- Club Serotonin (for joyful, good vibes)
- Soft Hearts Club (for vulnerable, emotional listening)
- Wrapped Party: This interactive, mobile-only feature is separate from your personalized stories and lets listeners experience their year in music live with friends, often including group-based quizzes and competitions.
- Listening Archive: Powered by AI, this delivers up to five personalized snapshots of your most memorable streaming days (e.g., your biggest discovery day or most nostalgic day).
- Your Podcaster Clip: Podcast lovers can now hear words of gratitude directly from their favorite creators right in their Wrapped experience.

Refreshed classics and fan favorites
The 2025 Wrapped also brings back essential fan favorites, many of which have been enhanced:
- Top Genres: Back to show users the styles that shaped their sound.
- Top Song Quiz: An interactive challenge that prompts you to guess your top song before it’s revealed.
- Top Artist Sprint: A visualization showing how your top five artists shifted in your personal rankings month by month.
- Top Songs & Playlists: Your list of top tracks now includes the exact number of times you streamed each song for the year.
How Spotify compiles the data
Spotify ensures a comprehensive recap by compiling Wrapped data from January 1 to mid-November of the year. This allows them enough time to finalize the stories and deliver the report in early December.
It’s important to note that while total time spent on the platform counts everything, listening features like “Private Mode” and “Exclude from Taste Profile” do not contribute to the taste-based stories and rankings that define your unique Wrapped experience.

How to access your Spotify Wrapped 2025
To unlock your personalized Spotify Wrapped story, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You must have streamed at least 30 songs for over 30 seconds each.
- You must have listened to at least five different artists this year.
Wrapped is available exclusively in the Spotify mobile app for iOS and Android. Look for the dedicated Wrapped feed at the top of your Home screen.
