Three new dining options are coming to SM Supermalls in the Visayas this month, adding more variety to the food scene in Iloilo and Cebu.

At SM City Iloilo, Chili’s is opening its first branch in the region, bringing its burgers, ribs, sizzling fajitas, and drinks to the city.

Meanwhile, SM City Cebu is getting two new additions with very different takes on comfort food. George & Onnie’s is bringing its modern Filipino dishes and family recipes to its first Visayas location, with plates designed for sharing.

Also opening at SM City Cebu is Niku Niku Oh!! Kome, making its VisMin debut with Japanese beef hamburg steaks grilled right in front of diners and served with Japanese rice.

What stands out is the range. A familiar international chain, a Filipino restaurant built around family recipes, and a Japanese concept centered on freshly grilled hamburg steaks are all finding room in the same regional dining market.

It also shows how mall dining in the Visayas continues to expand beyond the usual fast-food and casual dining lineup, with more concepts bringing different cuisines and dining experiences closer to regional consumers.

Niku Niku Oh!! Kome is bringing its Japanese beef hamburg steaks to Cebu for its first location in VisMin.

The patties are grilled in front of diners and served with Japanese rice, turning a familiar comfort-food staple into more of a dining experience.
