Trumpets mounts Narnia musical with two shows in single-night run

Beloved C.S. Lewis classic returns Aug. 16 with back-to-back performances at RCBC Plaza Makati.

Trumpets Playhouse is bringing back C.S. Lewis’ classic, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” for a one-night-only encore on August 16, featuring two performances.

Cheska Rojas, alternate for Susan Pevensie, highlighted the musical’s enduring relevance. “Despite how bleak everything seems, you can still choose to leave Narnia a better place—not just Narnia, but anywhere you are,” she said, describing the production as a way to connect audiences to a “glimmer of childlike hope and wonder.”

Directed by Nelsito Gomez, the musical will stage shows at 3 PM and 7 PM at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Makati City.

Tickets are priced at ₱500 for Orchestra Center, ₱450 for Orchestra Side, ₱400 for Loge Center, and ₱300 for Balcony Center.

Following recent technical issues, the ticket order form will reopen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 30. Organizers said pending requests from July 28 are being processed and reminded buyers to wait for a confirmation email before settling payment within 24 hours.
