From 2000s modeling icon to marketing professional, Victor Basa proves life after showbiz can mean stability without losing the spotlight.

For many celebrities, stepping away from the entertainment spotlight can be a daunting prospect. But for former model, actor, and TV host Victor Basa, embracing change has opened the door to new opportunities beyond showbiz while allowing him to remain connected to the industry that helped shape his career.

Now serving as a marketing professional for Toyota Santa Rosa, Basa has successfully carved out a space for himself in the corporate world without completely leaving behind his passion for hosting and public appearances.

In an interview with radar.ph on Saturday during the announcement event for the latest pageant projects under Arnold Vegafria’s ALV Pageant Circle, where he also served as one of the event hosts, Basa shared that he is grateful to have found a balance between his corporate responsibilities and occasional entertainment engagements.

According to Victor, the transition was not easy at first. Like many personalities who have spent years in the entertainment industry, he initially worried about stepping away from the spotlight.

“Yeah, at first, na baka ma-laos ka. Pero sabi ko, ‘I believed in the plans that God has for me,’ and I’m just thankful for the opportunity. Especially with this—even today, I have the opportunity to present these queens by ALV Pageant Circle. Thank you for keeping up with my life, Radar,” he shared.

Despite taking on a corporate role, Basa remains open to hosting projects and other creative opportunities that allow him to express another side of himself.

Victor rose to prominence as one of the country’s most recognizable male models during the 2000s. He first gained widespread attention as a Penshoppe model before successfully expanding his career into television, acting, and hosting.

Over the years, he became a familiar face in fashion campaigns, brand endorsements, lifestyle events, and television projects, helping solidify his status as one of the most recognizable male personalities during the height of the local modeling boom.
