John Lloyd Cruz, Isabel Santos hold pet care drive in memory of Noah in Siargao

Actor John Lloyd Cruz, together with his longtime partner Isabel Santos, organized a tribute project for pets in honor of their late dog, Noah Boy Good Boy.

On social media, John Lloyd and Isabel shared that they held a free vaccination, spay, and neuter day to honor their beloved Noah.

“Unang araw sa Siargao kasama ang @pawssionproject at @lisugasiargao,” John Lloyd wrote.

Turning grief into action

Prior to this, Isabel also announced on social media their initiative to give back to other fur babies in Siargao.

“Going back to Siargao to visit the good boys and girls who helped me out during Noah’s passing. Giving them some TLC with @pawssionproject,” she wrote.

According to Isabel, “It’s a feeding, vaccination, spay, and neuter event in @noahboygoodboy’s memory.”

The tribute project came after Noah’s passing, as Isabel opened up about the heartbreaking loss of her beloved dog.

“Last February 22, Noah breathed his last breath in my arms. I still find it hard to talk about it because it takes me back to the moment it happened,” she wrote in snaps shared on her Instagram.

“Life, for better or worse, had to go on. I had so many plans to attend to, even as I was still mourning the loss of my soulmate. Even if I wasn’t completely ready to go back out into the world, I ended up in Siargao,” she added.

“There, I met so many dogs. Loving them meant caring for them and their well-being. Their energy was unlike anything I had experienced before. Some of them stayed with us in our hotel room, and they were so gentle despite not having many of their basic needs met,” she shared.

“I’d like to think of it as a ripple effect of Noah’s love for me, and I wanted to express it by caring for the dogs that were there for me when I needed comfort,” she added.
