Michelle Dee hints at exciting SexBomb Girls collab after ‘Makatanong’ release

Michelle Dee describes “Makatanong” as the next step after “Reyna,” hints of a collab with SexBomb Girls.

Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Marquez Dee is continuing her journey in music with the release of her latest single, “Makatanong.”

The new track follows the success of her debut single, “Reyna,” which symbolized her rise as a beauty queen and her message of empowerment. 

With “Makatanong” Michelle reveals a deeper and more personal side of herself, using music to express confidence, boundaries, and self-growth.

“This new single, ‘Makatanong,’ really comes from a place of taking control and owning my voice,” Michelle shared in an interview with radar Entertainment.

She explained that the song was inspired by the chaos that comes when people feel entitled to ask personal questions about someone’s life. For Michelle, the single reflects the person she has become today.

“It is about confronting the chaos that comes with curiosity, especially when people feel entitled to ask questions about your life. For me, it reflects where I am now. I am more confident in setting boundaries and choosing what I want to share. It is not about shutting people out. It is about protecting your peace while still being honest about your journey,” she said.

Michelle also described “Makatanong” as the next step after “Reyna.” While her first single was about reclaiming power, the new release represents a stronger and more grounded version of herself.

“After Reyna, which was about reclaiming power, this feels like the next step. It is more assertive, more self-aware, and more grounded in who I am today,” she added.

Beyond music, Michelle is proud to represent OKGames alongside the SexBomb Girls, promoting women empowerment and responsible gaming. She said she feels honored to be part of a campaign that creates impact beyond entertainment while encouraging safe, mindful, and balanced gaming.
