The Exchange at Trinoma to launch retail and office spaces in late 2026.
The Trinoma mall in Quezon City will soon open a new commercial hub tied directly to the unified terminal connecting three train lines, even as ongoing delays continue to weigh on commuters.
The Exchange at Trinoma is set to launch in late 2026, with full completion targeted for 2027. The new section will connect directly to the MRT-7 line and house retail and office spaces.
ABC-Mart, a leading shoe retailer from Japan, is already confirmed to open its first Quezon City store in the new section.
The new integration cements Trinoma’s position as a transport hub, connecting to the North Triangle Common Station that lines up the MRT-3, MRT-7, and LRT-1 trains. Trinoma also serves as a terminal for key jeepney, point-to-point bus, and UV Express routes across northern Metro Manila and nearby Bulacan.
The Department of Transportation has promised that the MRT-7 and the Unified Grand Central Station will be fully operational by the second quarter of 2027, but commuters remain skeptical. The confirmation follows nearly a decade of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and construction woes, dampening commuters’ expectations.
A mega-hub gets bigger. The Exchange at Trinoma expands commercial space linked directly to the unified MRT-3, MRT-7, and LRT-1 terminal.

Navigating commercial property development in North Triangle
If you are a business owner and your retail brand relies heavily on middle-income consumer volume, secure lease options inside properties linked directly to the Unified Grand Central Station. Even if the train lines experience extended delays, the heavy centralization of P2P bus lines and UV Express terminals ensures a highly stable baseline of daily foot traffic.
For BPO companies and corporate enterprises looking to rent office space inside The Exchange, design flexible work arrangements for your personnel during the transition period. Because the final integration of the MRT-7 and LRT-1 lines won't stabilize until mid-2027, your workforce will face localized traffic bottlenecks around North Avenue during peak hours.
Keep a close eye on how private developers handle the allocation of eco-friendly zones inside the new complex. As utility rates fluctuate across the capital, commercial spaces featuring centralized energy management systems and direct rail attachments will yield significantly lower operational overheads over the next five years.
