Vince Maristela opens up about how social media presence influences showbiz opportunities.

Pinoy Big Brother alumna Vince Maristela candidly shared how social media fame now plays a major role in landing projects in the entertainment industry.

“Hindi ko naman alam dati na ‘pag artista ka kailangan mong i-maintain ang social media mo. Basis na ang social media mo ngayon para makakuha ka ng show,” he shared in an interview with Trggrd.

According to Vince, he never expected that popularity on social media would become an important factor in securing acting opportunities.

“Dati akala ko, basta galingan mo lang umarte, may trabaho ka. Pero ‘di ba, iyong sikat, bano naman umarte pero may show sila kasi sikat sila. Parang isa iyon sa mga hindi ko ine-expect na ganoon pala iyong business na ‘to,” he said.

Vince Maristela is known for his roles in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” and “The Secrets of Hotel 88.” He is currently one of Sparkle’s artists and is among the Celebrity Collab housemates of Pinoy Big Brother first edition.
