Erik Matti’s “Call My Manager” PH adaptation finally gets HBO premiere date, starring Judy Ann Santos, Edu Manzano, and RK Bagatsing.
After years of anticipation, director Erik Matti’s long-awaited adaptation of “Call My Manager” is finally set to reach audiences worldwide.
According to an exclusive report by Variety, the Philippine version of the acclaimed French comedy-drama will premiere on HBO on August 13.
The eight-episode HBO Original marks one of the most ambitious local adaptations to emerge from the country’s television industry in recent years.
Produced by Reality MM Studios and executive produced by Erik Matti and Dondon Monteverde, the series follows the fast-paced and often chaotic lives of talent managers as they navigate the personal and professional challenges of their celebrity clients. Leading the ensemble cast are Judy Ann Santos, Edu Manzano, and RK Bagatsing, who bring to life characters working behind the scenes of the entertainment business.
The project serves as the official Philippine adaptation of the internationally successful French series “Dix pour cent,” known globally as “Call My Agent.” The local version was first reported in 2022, with principal photography completed in 2023. Since then, viewers have been eagerly awaiting updates on the highly anticipated production.
Adding to HBO’s growing lineup of Philippine content, the network will also launch “Come Dine With Me: Celebrity Philippines” on July 23. The unscripted series is a local take on the popular British format and features 20 Filipino celebrities and public personalities competing through a mix of hospitality, entertainment, and culinary challenges.
