Ate Gay celebrates a major milestone as MRI shows no remaining lump.

Comedian Ate Gay has shared another encouraging milestone in her battle against Stage 4 cancer, revealing that her latest MRI showed there is no longer a lump on her nose.

In a Facebook post, Ate Gay, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, expressed gratitude after receiving the positive medical update from her doctor.

“Ang ganda ng Doktora ko oh… at magandang balita wala na akong bukol sa ilong at leeg result ng MRI yeheyyyyy Thank you Lord Jesus. 4 na lamang na immuno (every 21 days) ay tapos na…. salamat po sa Dasal at sa mga Anghel ko,” Ate Gay wrote.

The comedian also shared a photo from the hospital with her doctor and a companion while continuing her treatment.

The latest update marks another positive development in Ate Gay’s recovery from Stage 4 mucoepidermoid carcinoma, a rare cancer affecting the salivary glands. She previously underwent 35 sessions of radiation therapy and five cycles of chemotherapy, which significantly reduced the tumor doctors had initially considered inoperable.

After completing chemotherapy and radiation, Ate Gay transitioned to immunotherapy, undergoing a total of 12 sessions scheduled every 21 days to help eliminate any remaining cancer cells and reduce the risk of recurrence.

Based on her latest post, Ate Gay now has only four immunotherapy sessions left.

Her journey has drawn an outpouring of prayers and support from fellow celebrities, friends, and fans since she publicly revealed her diagnosis. Earlier in her treatment, she also faced severe chemotherapy side effects that temporarily required hospitalization.

With her latest MRI bringing good news, Ate Gay ended her post by thanking God, everyone who prayed for her, and the people she lovingly referred to as her “angels” for standing by her throughout her cancer battle.
