Ten years of romance, books, and kilig is a love story worth celebrating.
RomanceClass Books, a community-published catalog of contemporary English romance novels and novellas by Filipino authors, is marking the 10th year of its FeelsFest on Aug. 22 at Greek-to-Go Taverna in Quezon City.
The event will bring together readers and authors for a day of book launches, live readings, cover reveals, anniversary editions, merchandise, freebies, and other activities.
Six RomanceClass titles that are turning 10 this year will have special 10th anniversary editions: “Another Word for Happy” by Agay Llanera, “If the Dress Fits” by Carla de Guzman, “Iris After the Incident” by Mina V. Esguerra, “Keep the Faith” by Ana Tejano, “Plain Vanilla” by Ines Bautista-Yao, and “Scandalized” by Tara Frejas.
Some of the stories will also leave the page for live readings by Page Jose, Pam Zaragoza, and Rendell Sanchez, among others.
Admission to FeelsFest is free, with attendees encouraged to register ahead of time so organizers can prepare enough books and meryenda for everyone.
RomanceClass was founded by Esguerra, whose best-known works include “My Imaginary Ex,” “Fairy Tale Fail,” and “That Kind of Guy.”
