Award-winning actress completes military training, earns Seaman First Class rank in the Philippine Navy Reserve Command.

Veteran actress Lorna Tolentino has embarked on a new journey in public service after officially joining the Philippine Navy Reserve Command.

The award-winning actress, whose full name is Victoria Lorna Fernandez, proudly announced on Facebook that she had successfully completed her military training and earned the rank of Seaman First Class.

For Tolentino, the milestone represents more than a personal achievement—it reflects the discipline, perseverance, and commitment required to complete the rigorous training.


“Discipline is choosing to finish, even when it’s hard. Just finished,” she wrote in her post.

Expressing her pride in serving the country, she added, “Lorna Tolentino Fernandez, at your service. Philippine Navy Reserve Command. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!”

The accomplishment marks a significant new chapter in Tolentino’s life, expanding her legacy beyond her decades-long career in Philippine entertainment to include service to the nation.

Tolentino joins a growing list of celebrities who have also chosen to serve as military reservists, including Nadia Montenegro, Matteo Guidicelli, Gerald Anderson, Robin Padilla, and Charo Santos.
