Yeng, Gloc-9 excited for chance to guide kids and revisit their roots on ‘The Voice Kids’

The iconic OPM stars look forward to mentoring young musical talent and revisiting their roots.

Singer-songwriters Yeng Constantino and Gloc-9 have officially joined the coaching panel of the upcoming season of The Voice Kids on GMA Network.

During the media conference on Friday, the two newest coaches expressed their excitement about meeting the young talents and working alongside their fellow coaches.

“Excited ako na makatrabaho ang dalawang coaches na ’to. Sobrang excited na ako. Bukod sa mga bardagulan namin on-screen, it’s the bonding behind the scenes. Sobrang sarap mag-connect sa kapwa mo musikero,” shared the Pop Rock Royalty. 

For Gloc-9, joining the singing competition is not only an opportunity to mentor aspiring young artists but also a chance to reconnect with his own beginnings as a musician.

“Excited akong ma-meet ang kiddie talents and ma-experience ang journey nila. Medyo iyakin ako, so medyo kinakabahan ako, alam ko mararamdaman ko ang emotions nila dahil minsan sa buhay ko, nadaan ko rin ’yon. Sobra akong excited. In a way, parang babalik ako noong ako ay nagsisimula rin,” said the artists known as the “Makata sa Pinas.”
