Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera express deep gratitude as their fandom aids disaster victims.
For the DustBia fandom, being a supporter has meant more than streaming, posting edits, or cheering for their favorite pair.
Fans of Dustin Yu, Bianca de Vera, and their loveteam DustBia recently organized a relief drive for communities affected by flooding in Hagonoy, Bulacan—turning their admiration into something tangible for people who needed help.
Dustin personally thanked those who volunteered and contributed to the effort.
“Ang gaganda ng puso n’yo, and I’m genuinely so proud of you, lalo na bilang mga taong patuloy na sumusuporta sa akin,” he said.
He also encouraged fans to keep extending their kindness, adding, “Salamat sa inyong malasakit at kabutihan. Sobrang grateful ako na nandiyan kayo. Salamat at meron akong kayo.”
Bianca echoed the sentiment, telling supporters that seeing them show up for people in need made her heart full.
“The love you give us is already more than enough, but seeing that same love reach other people means even more.”
The relief effort is hardly an isolated act. In June, DustBia and their supporters organized an outreach event, providing more than 100 school supplies and educational assistance to students in Manila. The fandom has also supported initiatives involving patients at the National Center for Mental Health and animal welfare.
One fan summed up what makes the community different: “A fandom with a heart because our fave brings out the best in us.”
In a fandom culture often measured in numbers, DustBia’s supporters are showing another kind of impact with one fan summarizing it as, “This family has the kind of life that leaves the screen and reaches people who need it most.”
