The Queen of All Media prepares her gradual public return featuring intimate interviews and lifestyle content.
Kris Aquino is gradually returning to the public eye, with plans for a weekly video podcast once she receives medical clearance.
The planned project would allow Aquino to reconnect with audiences through the kind of conversations she has long been known for, along with lifestyle content, products she personally uses, and recipes she wants to share.
“My goal is once a week sit down interviews with people who for me are interesting,” Aquino previously said.
The podcast plans come as Aquino makes a series of select public appearances after stepping back from the regular entertainment grind.
She recently appeared on the October 2026 cover of Tatler Philippines, marking another high profile appearance for the former television host and interviewer.
The magazine described Aquino as an influential figure in Philippine culture, highlighting her decades-long career and her willingness to openly share her life, opinions, and vulnerabilities with the public.
“For decades, Kris Aquino has been an influential force in Philippine culture, captivating audiences not just on screen, but in the way she fearlessly shares her life, convictions, and vulnerability,” Tatler Philippines said.
That candid connection became a defining part of Aquino’s career. From hosting and interviewing to discussing her family and personal experiences, she developed a public persona built around her conversational style, humor, and willingness to speak openly.
For its October cover, the magazine said Aquino’s experiences have shaped a deeper perspective.
“For our October cover, Kris Aquino reveals a wisdom honed by experience,” the publication shared.
Her longtime friend and fashion designer #MichaelLeyva also shared some of Aquino’s looks from the shoot, referring to her as “Still, The one and the only Queen.”
The magazine appearance follows Aquino’s participation in a Netflix Philippines campaign in August. She took on the tongue in cheek C.H.I.K.A. title, short for “Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis,” bringing her familiar humor and conversational approach to the campaign.
Aquino’s planned video podcast would give her another platform to engage audiences without necessarily returning to the pace of her previous television career.
The concept is centered on weekly sit down interviews with people she finds interesting, while also allowing her to talk about lifestyle topics, products, and food.
For now, the project remains dependent on medical clearance, and Aquino has not announced a launch date.
Her recent appearances, however, suggest that she is gradually becoming more visible again after years away from the regular showbiz spotlight.
Rather than an immediate return to television, the podcast could give Aquino a more flexible way to connect with audiences while deciding what kind of content she wants to pursue.
After decades of working in front of cameras, Aquino appears to be exploring a different way of doing what she has always done best: talking to people, sharing stories, and bringing audiences into the conversation.
