Andrea hints at another big reveal in 2026, saying fans should expect something even braver than her calendar shoot.
A new era has officially begun for Andrea Brillantes.
This is how many described the actress as she unveiled her sultry and empowered look during the recent launch of Tanduay’s 2026 Calendar Girl, marking a striking transformation in her growing career.
During the press interview, Andrea admitted that while the public sees this as a major image shift, she doesn’t view it as a complete reinvention of herself.
“I don’t want to say na bagong Blythe talaga. This is still me. I would say that I’m just braver now to explore, and I’m just more confident, and I’m more in control of my career. And it feels good,” she said.
With her fierce visuals and bold attitude, Andrea hinted that the calendar shoot is only a preview of what fans should expect from her in 2026.
“Actually may isa pa kayong dapat abangan sa 2026. Iyon na lang ang masasabi ko at mas matapang siya sa akin,” she teased.
Shocked but ready
Andrea, now 22, admitted that she was surprised when Tanduay offered her the opportunity.
“I was shocked at first, as in napaisip ako. N’ong napaisip ulit ako, ‘Wait, ready na ba ako? Ready na ba ‘yong mama ko,’yong lola ko? Nandito sila ngayon… Ready na ba ‘yong fans ko?” she recalled, noting that she grew up in front of audiences who watched her from her child-star days.
But after reflecting, she revealed that excitement took over.
“I got super excited kasi I knew that this is something that I can do and I also wanted to do,” she added.
For Andrea, being chosen as Tanduay’s 2026 Calendar Girl is not just a project but a milestone. “I knew that I was ready. I am really happy to be here. This is such an honor and a huge milestone for me,” she said.
A year of change
With this bold step and her recent departure from her longtime management, Star Magic, Andrea was asked how she plans to wrap up the year.
“I think ito na ang pang-wrapup ko para masimulan ko ang 2026. You already know what you can expect from me,” she said.
Andrea added, “I just wrapped it up with gratitude, and I am truly, truly grateful for everything that’s happening to me right now.”
As for her holiday plans, Andrea plans to keep them simple and meaningful. “Pahinga lang, and just to be with friends and family.”
