“Rosario” co-stars reveal deep friendship, hint at possible love story beyond screen as fans swoon over their chemistry.
Their on-screen chemistry may spark romance rumors, but Aubrey Caraan and Lance Carr say their real-life bond is rooted in a deep and dependable friendship.
Speaking at the media conference for their upcoming horror film “Rosario,” Caraan revealed that Carr has become her closest support system while living independently in Manila.
“We’re really good friends… best friend ko siya,” Caraan said. “Sa mga hindi po nakakaalam, I live alone here in Manila.”
She shared that Carr often accompanies her on errands and is the one she calls when she needs help. “Kunwari kailangan kong mag-grocery, pero ang dami kong bitbit, so magpapasundo ako. Ganoon yung level of closeness namin ni Lance,” she added.
While she clarified that her sister remains her closest confidante, Caraan said Carr is the only male friend she feels comfortable opening up to.
Carr confirmed her account, adding that even Caraan’s mother had entrusted him to look after the actress.
“‘Yon din po ang ibinilin ng mama niya sa akin,” Carr said. “Kung kailan niya ako kailangan, parang I make sure naman na nandyan ako for her.”
Despite their strong friendship, both admitted they are open to the possibility that their relationship could evolve. “Nakikita ko naman na girlfriend material si Aubrey,” Carr said.
Caraan, in turn, described Carr as “boyfriend material,” prompting him to jokingly respond, “Akala ko, husband material?”
Along with Rose Van Ginkel, Caraan and Carr headline “Rosario,” a thriller-horror film by Viva Films, written and directed by Roni S. Benaid, opening in cinemas nationwide on August 5.
