Miss Tourism Worldwide is… Philippines! 🇵ðŸ‡
De Mesa bested other candidates during the competition held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia earlier today, April 25, 2026.
Aside from the main title, she also showcased her beauty and elegance as she won Best in National Costume, where she flaunted her golden-inspired ensemble, and Best in Evening Gown, where she stunned in a yellow floral-beaded gown.
Meanwhile, candidates from Cameroon and Estonia finished as first and second runners-up. Belgium placed third runner-up, while Thailand finished fourth runner-up.
From princess to queen
De Mesa represented the Philippines after being crowned First Princess at the 2026 Miss World Philippines pageant last month.
After competing on the national pageant stage four times, she finally got her chance to represent the Philippines internationally.
Many thought her First Princess finish at the 2026 Miss World Philippines pageant last month would be her final pageant stint.
But weeks later, the Manila-based accountant received the news she had long hoped for—she would compete for the country on the international stage.
