Filipino actor-singer named Acting Division Champion, shines in global competition in Las Vegas.

Filipino actor-singer Vince Conrad delivered a standout performance on the global stage, bagging five medals and securing a scholarship from the New York Film Academy at the 2026 World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA).

Conrad emerged as Division Champion in the Acting Category, clinching a Gold Medal and advancing to the Grand Finals at the event held on July 13 to 21 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Conrad further showcased his versatility by winning additional Gold Medals in Comical Acting and Dramatic Acting, a Silver Medal in Comical Acting as a semifinalist, and a Bronze Medal in Vocal World.

His strong showing at WCOPA capped an already solid career built on theater, film, and music. Conrad began his professional theater journey in 2014 and has since worked with some of the country’s most respected names, including National Artist for Music Fides Cuyugan-Asensio, filmmaker Joel Lamangan, and actress-director Laurice Guillen.

Among his stage credits are “Song of Joseph,” “Si Totong Tipaklong at ang Kapangyarihan ng Tag-araw,” “Maynila sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag,” “Magnificat the Musical,” “Kristo: Isang Musikal,” “JEPROKS the Musical,” “Ibarra… Ngayon,” and “Dami Pang Gustong Sabihin.”

He was also part of “I Will the Musical,” which earned Best Ensemble in a Musical Play at the 35th Aliw Awards.

Beyond theater, Conrad has expanded into film, appearing in a period project directed by Rommel Ramilo. His contributions to the performing arts were recognized in 2020 when he received the Dangal ng Batangan Artist Award for Theater from the Batangas Tourism and Cultural Affairs Council.

With his WCOPA wins and NYFA scholarship, Conrad steps into a new phase of his career, gaining wider international exposure and opening doors across film, television, theater, and music. He is represented by Ilviso Artist Management Inc.
