Beauty queen addresses online comments about frequent guestings before making graceful exit from popular podcast.
Miss Earth Philippines 2025 Joy Barcoma has announced that she is stepping away from the podcast “Dogshow Divas,” saying she wants to “protect my peace” after reading comments about how frequently she appeared on the show.
In a Facebook post, Barcoma said she had seen remarks concerning her guest appearances and clarified that she does not personally decide how often she joins the podcast.
“Today, I’ve decided to step away from ‘Dogshow Divas,’” Barcoma wrote.
“Nabasa ko ang comments about my guestings. I’ve always been grateful whenever I’m invited to join podcasts when my schedule allows, but how often I appear isn’t something I personally control,” she added.
While Barcoma did not specify which comments prompted her decision, she thanked those who had supported her and the podcast.
“Grateful ako to everyone who supported us, but for now, I’m choosing to protect my peace,” she said. “All the best to Dogshow Divas!”
Her announcement quickly drew thousands of reactions, with many followers expressing support for her decision.
Baus Rufo was among those who responded publicly.
“Love youuuu ❤️ Thanks for bringing such light and joy to the pod. Always the class act and the dazzling jusa that you are,” Rufo wrote.
Barcoma’s announcement comes amid online discussions surrounding her recurring appearances on “Dogshow Divas,” with the Miss Earth Philippines 2025 titleholder stressing that the frequency of her guestings was not something she personally controlled.
