Global beauty retailer Sephora is collaborating with the iconic hot sauce maker TABASCO® on a limited-edition makeup collection. Launched in January 2026, the partnership centers on Sephora Collection’s Outrageous Plump Volume Effect Lip Gloss, which is infused with chili pepper extract to create a visible plumping effect and a tingling sensation.
The formula leverages the natural power of capsaicin (chili pepper extract) to stimulate blood flow and create an instant, visible plumping effect accompanied by a signature tingling sensation. To balance the “heat,” Sephora has infused the gel-like texture with hyaluronic acid, promising up to eight hours of intense hydration and high-gloss shine.
The “Scoville Scale” of Shades
The collection features four shades inspired by TABASCO® sauces, each with an escalating level of plumping intensity, from the subtle Jalapeño to the fiery Extreme Heat. To enhance its collectible appeal, each gloss comes in a travel-size silicone case modeled after a TABASCO® bottle label, complete with a key ring and chili charm. The collaboration is available globally online and in Sephora stores and also includes a set containing all four glosses.
