At CES in January 2026, tech company NuraLogix unveiled the Longevity Mirror, a smart mirror that provides a detailed health assessment from a 30-second selfie video.

The device uses Transdermal Optical Imaging (TOI), a contact-free technology that analyzes blood flow patterns in a person’s face to generate over 30 health metrics related to cardiovascular, metabolic and mental wellness. This brings the company’s enterprise-level AI system, already used by companies like Nestlé, into the home.

The science of Transdermal Optical Imaging

By analyzing these hemodynamics, the mirror generates over 30 health metrics, including:

  • Cardiovascular Resilience: Heart rate, irregular heartbeat detection, and blood pressure.
  • Metabolic Balance: Risk indicators for Type 2 diabetes and fatty liver disease.
  • Mental Wellness: Real-time assessment of mental stress and anxiety levels.
  • Physiological Age: An estimate of your biological age versus your chronological years.

Distilling data into the longevity index

The mirror simplifies health tracking by distilling complex data into a single Longevity Index score from 0 to 100, making it easy for users to monitor their progress. The system, which can store up to six individual profiles, displays results on the mirror’s screen or within an accompanying app. It aims to provide a daily, friction-free way for households to check in on their long-term health without wearables or traditional sensors.

To make the data actionable, the mirror includes a built-in AI Health Assistant that offers lifestyle advice. NuraLogix also plans to launch an optional One-Touch Health Concierge service for live video coaching.

Price and Availability

The Longevity Mirror is set to ship in Q1 2026 with a retail price of $899 (approx. ₱53,000). This initial cost includes a one-year software subscription, with subsequent annual access to the AI health platform priced at $99 (₱5,800).

This innovation is an example of the Aided by AI: Embedding assistive intelligence into consumers’ lives trend by TrendWatching.com. Once the subject of experiments in computer science labs, artificial intelligence (AI) has since moved into the lives of everyday consumers and is now powering various daily interactions, from Zoom backgrounds to smart speakers that can understand local dialects. There are already endless opportunities to add value into consumers’ lives via AI—think delivering convenience, boosting productivity, offering personalization, and even injecting some fun and delight. Expect even more to emerge in the coming years.
