The Juans rejects unauthorized ticketed meet-and-greet, fan gathering 

The Juans pull out of the Madrid fan event, slams unauthorized ticket sales and AI promo image used without band approval.

Fresh from their Madrid stop, OPM band The Juans clarified that they have no affiliation with a ticketed meet-and-greet and after-party event held June 14 at Blackstar Club there, prompting them to withdraw their participation.

In a statement posted by vocalist Juan Carl Guevarra on X, the band explained that while they were aware of the gathering organized in partnership with Empowered Filipinos in Spain, they were never informed that it would be a paid event.

The group stressed that they were neither consulted nor asked for approval regarding ticket sales and had not committed to performing or holding a meet-and-greet. They also revealed that a Juanistas meet-up held a day earlier had likewise been ticketed without their knowledge or consent.

“Because we do not condone the unauthorized monetization of our community, we will no longer be participating in this event,” the band stated on June 14.
