The Ridleys eye bringing sold-out orchestral concert to more cities

After two packed shows at the Met, the alternative-folk band asks fans where to bring “Our Story” next.

Following their sold-out two-night orchestral concert “The Ridleys: Our Story (Draft #10)” at the historic Metropolitan Theater on July 31 and August 1, the alternative-folk band is now exploring the possibility of taking the grand production to more cities.

The band launched an interest survey, asking fans where they want the orchestral concert to go next.

“We want to bring our orchestral concert closer to you!” the group announced, encouraging fans to answer the survey and share it with others.

There is also a little incentive for those hoping to catch the show in their area, fans who completely and properly answer the survey may receive priority access to ticket purchases if a concert pushes through near them.

The initiative follows the Manila concerts, where The Ridleys reimagined their beloved tracks with full orchestral arrangements under conductor and musical arranger Ria Villena-Osorio.

Dubbed “Draft #10,” the show drew inspiration from lead vocalist Benny Manaligod’s real-life old journal and song drafts, with scattered notebook pages incorporated into the theater’s visual design to trace the band’s story through music.

Now, with the band asking fans where they should go next, “Our Story” could be getting a much bigger map.
