Some questioned whether the discussion was premature, while others accused Reyes of inserting himself into a sensitive situation.

Earlier, Reyes also cautioned social media users against turning tragedies into content. “Hindi lahat ng bagay kailangan gawan ng content. Hindi lahat ng bagay kailangan ng reaction video. Hindi lahat ng bagay kailangan gatasin,” he wrote in a June 9 Facebook post, without specifying a particular incident.
