Actor Elijah Canlas once again used his platform to encourage political participation, urging young Filipinos to register before the voter registration deadline today, May 18.

“Being apolitical is not the flex you think it is,” the actor wrote online. “That’s why I urge everyone, especially the youth, to REGISTER TO VOTE.”
Elijah also reminded followers that voting is not only a right, but a responsibility. “Makapangyarihan ang bawat isa. Maliban sa pagiging karapatan, ito rin ay ating responsibilidad,” he added.
The actor has long been vocal about social and political issues, often using his platform to speak about youth participation, governance, and national issues important to him.
