Though now focused on his legislative duties in Nueva Ecija, Manuel Chua’s career began with high-stakes stunts in Argentina, where he competed in the grueling Pinoy Fear Factor alongside celebrities like Jomari Yllana and Phoemela Baranda.
Oh no!! 😥
Actor-turned-politician Manuel Chua appears to be the latest personality linked to a circulating leaked alleged video scandal on social media.
It was also alleged that the same woman from a previous “private moment” video was recorded without his knowledge or consent.
This comes just months after social media users widely shared videos allegedly involving several showbiz personalities, including Ron Angeles, Aaron Villaflor, and Sam Ajdani.
Chua was first introduced to the public through the Filipino version of the reality game show Pinoy Fear Factor, which aired on ABS-CBN from November 2008 to February 2009.
On X, some users reportedly attempted to sell the clips on Telegram for ₱150.
Under Republic Act No. 9995, or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act, sharing or selling private sexual content without consent is a criminal offense punishable by three to seven years in prison and/or fines ranging from ₱100,000 to ₱500,000.
As of now, Chua has not released any statement or reaction on his social media accounts regarding the matter.
The digital landscape remains a volatile space for public figures as Manuel Chua becomes the newest subject of unauthorized video leaks surfacing across social media and encrypted messaging apps.
