Is Jayden Fernandez the latest victim in a string of circulating sex video scandals online?
The content creator is now being named across social media platforms as allegedly involved in a new explicit video that has begun spreading, raising fresh concerns over privacy and consent in the digital space.
Fernandez’s name surfaces following a similar controversy that previously linked actor-politician Manuel Chua to a video involving the same woman from an earlier “private moment” clip reportedly recorded without consent.
Digital privacy under siege
The issue also comes months after alleged videos involving personalities such as Nico Locco, Ron Angeles, Arron Villaflor, and Sam Ajdani circulated online—pointing to what appears to be a troubling pattern of leaked intimate content targeting public figures.
Fernandez, known on TikTok for his men’s underwear content and online business, has built a following around his bold and body-focused branding, later expanding into modeling for a local underwear label.
However, as his name trends for the wrong reasons, the conversation shifts from curiosity to caution.
Under Republic Act No. 9995 or the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act, the sharing of private sexual content without consent is a punishable offense, carrying penalties of three to seven years in prison and fines ranging from ₱100,000 to ₱500,000.
As of writing, Fernandez has yet to release any statement addressing the issue.
The incident once again underscores the risks of digital exploitation—where viral content can quickly turn individuals into unwilling subjects of public scrutiny.
