“Kapag wala akong project… meron akong pinagkakakitaan.”

A content creator-turned-actor is thinking long-term—already carefully planning his life even before the spotlight fades.

Armando Gatdula Macasusi, more popularly known as Arman Salon on TikTok, has appeared in shows like “My Ilonggo Girl,” “Ang Nanay Kong si Arman,” and “Maka.”

Instead of spending his talent fees lavishly, Arman has used them to fund his long-running salon business—well aware that fame doesn’t last long.

“Kapag wala akong project o hindi na talaga ako kilala sa social media, meron akong pinagkakakitaan,” he said.

Beyond content creation and salon, Arman also occasionally sells products in public spaces, including clip fans, umbrellas, hair dyes, and chocolates. Fans would often recognize him, stopping for photo opportunities or quick acting skits.

The mindset has earned Arman praises online, with viewers saying he inspires them to start their own ventures. Others commended his grounded approach despite growing visibility.

“Marami pang darating ma… wala nang pake ang tadhana kung kuntento ka na basta mas marami ka pang blessings na darating,” one user wrote.

Arman’s story reflects a growing reality of being a creator. While fame may open doors, building something sustainable requires effort and a willingness to look beyond the viral moment.
