The popular Cavite creator reveals the secret sacrifices and doubts behind her dream housemate journey.
Content creator Louise Anne Nagal, popularly known as LANS, opened up about the sacrifices and uncertainty behind her journey to becoming an official housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 3.0.”
In a video recorded on October 22, two days before her official announcement, the 24-year-old shared how she kept the opportunity under wraps for months while preparing for a potentially life-changing experience.
Known as the “VetMed Content Creator ng Cavite,” LANS is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at Cavite State University. She is recognized for her signature introduction, “This is Laaans!” and educational videos about science and animals.
One of the biggest decisions she made was taking a leave of absence (LOA) from school to pursue the opportunity, knowing that waiting could mean missing her chance altogether.
“Naka-LOA (leave of absence) ako ngayon sa school.
The road to becoming a housemate was far from easy. She recalled months of exhaustion, illness, and preparation, all while keeping her plans private because there was no guarantee she would make it into the house.
“For the past few months, hindi talaga naging madali ang journey. Like ang daming pagsubok: puyat, pagod, nagkasakit-sakit pa tayo para lang maigapang talaga ’to. For how many months itinago ko ’to kasi wala namang kasiguraduhan kung makakapasok ako sa loob,” she shared.
The uncertainty even made her consider giving up several times. Looking back, however, LANS said the experience was worth the struggle because she knew she had given her dream a chance.
Despite her doubts, LANS remained determined to prepare content for her audience before entering the house, making sure she fulfilled her responsibilities as a creator.
LANS also credited her supporters for helping her pursue her dream, saying their encouragement was among the reasons she decided to take the leap.
Now that she is officially part of Bahay ni Kuya, LANS hopes the experience will give viewers a chance to get to know her beyond her online persona.
“Saan mas makilala niyo pa po ako. Kung sino talaga ako outside of content creation,” she said.
Although she admitted she was not entirely ready for what lay ahead, LANS expressed her excitement and gratitude for finally entering the house.
