Genuine intentions

“There’s something powerful about shared intentions. Doing this with friends who have the same principles as me reminded me that helping doesn’t have to be grand—it just has to be genuine,” Awra wrote.

She also shared how personally involved she was in the preparation of the donations, from packing groceries at home to personally handing them over to the recipients.

“From preparing and packing groceries in my own place to knowing that these will go to jeepney drivers who continue to work hard despite everything they’re facing, every moment felt purposeful,” she added.

For Awra, the donation drive was more than just giving away goods. It was also a reminder that compassion remains important, especially during uncertain times.

“This is our small way of giving back and a reminder that even in uncertain times, kindness will always have a place,” she said.

A message of compassion

The young star also took time to thank those who helped make the outreach program possible. Awra likewise expressed gratitude to everyone who donated to her initiative.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without your kindness and willingness to give. What we did may seem small, but it was built on shared effort, genuine intention, and a collective desire to help. May God bless you all for the goodness you’ve shared, not just today but in the lives you’ve touched,” she wrote.
