The University of Santo Tomas is hosting “The Poet of Concrete,” an exhibit honoring National Artist for Architecture Leandro Locsin, at the Beato Angelico Gallery.
Running from April 27 to May 22, the exhibit traces Locsin’s legacy through texts, photographs, models, and drawings—from his early years as a student to his most iconic works, including the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, the Philippine International Convention Center, and UP Diliman’s Church of the Holy Sacrifice.
It also highlights the lasting influence of Locsin’s firm, and some of his demolished structures.

The exhibit is curated by architects Gerry Torres, Caryn Paredes-Santillan, and Noel Cruz—in collaboration with the CCP, the UST College of Architecture, and the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde Center for Campus Art.
The showcase is mounted ahead of the country’s observance of National Heritage Month in May. It was previously exhibited at DLS–CSB in September 2024.
